Overview
Situated in the greater Kruger area, Kapama Private Game Reserve sweeps across 13 000 hectares of savannah and riverine forest. Kapama is known for its diverse wildlife experiences and is home to the big five, with its two daily game drives, fascinating encounters with the prolific wildlife is ensured.
Kapama Karula radiates calmness and depicts the pinnacle of the ultimate luxury five-star safari accommodation. Kapama Karula flourishes with twelve indistinguishable superior suites, two of these are purpose-built for families. Each suite is elegantly decorated and with generous private space. Luxury Villa
Ten spacious luxury villas feature elegant interiors, en-suite bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers, minibars with fine wines and champagne, Nespresso machines, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and fireplaces. Each villa opens onto a private deck with a full-size heated pool, sun loungers and views of the Klaserie River.
Superior Family Villa
Two purpose-built family villas offer an open-plan living area, master bedroom and separate en-suite children’s bedroom with a TV, movies and Wii console. Villas include all standard amenities, plus a private deck and large heated swimming pool.
Activities
The day starts with an early wake-up call between 5am and 5:30am. Tea, coffee and rusks are enjoyed together before heading out at first light for the morning game drive.
At around 3:30pm, everyone gathers for a decadent high tea, before heading out with your ranger and tracker for the afternoon game drive through the reserve. En route, you’ll stop for a sundowner drink and will have a chance to stretch your legs as you watch the sun set over the distant peaks of the Drakensberg mountains.
